Sun studio’s in Memphis is one of, if not the most legendary studio in the world!!(Abbey Road i’m sorry)
It is the place where Elvis first walked in and said “er um, excuse me miss. I was wondering if could I sing a song for ya’ll on that reckid player.” THATS WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID. Johnny Cash also walked into Sun Studio’s a business man and out “the fucking man”… Haven’t you seen Walk The Line?
EJ and I were lucky enough to be asked to do a live session there while we were in town. It was a terrific place! All the studio employees were so happy and proud to work there and there was a really great energy in that room.
They have recently installed solar panels on the roof of the studio and this will manage to cover half the studio’s power (Studios need a lot of Power).
We even got to record onto the same Protools rig that recorded Elvis’s Blue Suede Shoes’s!

hello there

this is my new “blog” (man i can’t stand that word)… i have always been a bit skeptical of “blogging”… i often find it a bit painful and annoying reading someone’s self absorbed thoughts… things that maybe best left unsaid… or unwritten… i think i’m going to keep this for mainly posting my photo’s up… one’s i see fit… i sure as hell need to do something with all these pictures.
